Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Full-time, Permanent Position - 37.5 hours per week
Commencing March 22, 2021
Qualifications:
- Post secondary diploma or experience in an accounting related field is required
- Minimum three years’ experience
Skills required:
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Database
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well developed interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
- High level of confidentiality
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
- Effective time management
- Negotiation skills and the ability to set appropriate priorities is imperative
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintains a parent and child database, including child registration information, parent fee information, and payment methods
- Responsible for the calculation, processing and documenting of parent fees and the collection of outstanding parent fees
- Regular communication with Program families regarding fees and payments
- Calculation and electronic deposit of payments
- Regular communication with Program Coordinators and Providers
- Generates computerized reports as required
- Corresponds and collaborates with multiple funding partners (City of London, Middlesex County, Province of Ontario) regarding Child Care Fee Subsidy approvals, issues and the submission of monthly claims
- Completion of additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
