Our Educators

Wednesday, January 15, 2020

Our educators and home child care providers are the key to the quality of your child’s experience with London Children’s Connection.

These warm and caring professionals are selected by our hiring professionals who determine each individual’s ability to meet the needs of children. Once selected, these warm and caring educators are then provided with extensive orientation to our programs, and their policies and procedures, and they benefit from ongoing support and professional learning to become a team of caring professionals.

All of our educators and home child care providers hold a current certification in First Aid and infant and child CPR training, as well as a completed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Who We Hire

Our children’s centres and Family Centres are fully staffed by Early Childhood Educators, registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education. Educators working in our school age program come to us with educational backgrounds in areas such as education, recreation, and social services, with a wide array of applicable skills and experiences. Home Child Care Providers are interviewed and carefully selected based on their education, experience, and abilities to offer a safe and nurturing child care environment in their home.

Doors are opened to you, beyond the job you applied for. You make connections with the staff, parents and children. And, there are so many opportunities for continued learning through workshops, shared thoughts with communities of practice, and discussions with colleagues. So glad I have this career with LCC that keeps me learning, on my toes, and joyful every day.” - Heather
